The Munich Art Academy forms a vibrant centre for the creation of contemporary art. The studies are exceptional in today’s higher education landscape. They rely on independence and self-responsibility and promote excellent artistic talent according to individual interest and focus.  Renowned artists with their diverse artistic stances run classes for liberal arts and art education as well as the study programmes interior architecture, architecture and art, fine arts and therapy as well as the numerous studio workshops. Roughly 800 students – more than a fourth of which are international students – are taught within the fascinating juxtaposition of tradition and modern art. Each July, the annual exhibition presents the students’ works in the studios, workshops and in the garden.
